"The PMI Northern Italy Chapter is designing a special Event named - Progettando 2021 – “L’Italia che Vorrei”, to advance the knowledge and practices of two dedicate and very important topics, as “L'intelligenza Artificiale” and “La Citta che Vorrei” focusing this event in these two projects that are a promise of transformation and reconstruction of our future towards a new Italy, to a general project management audience. The Chapter and the Progettando 2021 Program wants to highlight the restart after a period of difficulty represented by the moment of the pandemic that forced us to limit ourselves in our daily expressions, in our sociability, to change habits, to re-evaluate values and behaviors.
New trends for transformation
The last six months alone have produced more digital transformation than the last decade, with every transformation effort already underway finding itself accelerated, and at scale. While many of my digital transformation predictions from a year ago benefited from this shift, others were displaced by more urgent needs, like 24/7 secure and reliable connectivity. Will core technologies like AI and data analytics still dominate headlines, or will we see newer, previously emerging technologies take the lead?
A second transformation project involves a new conception of cities. La Citta che Vorrei is the theme of the second day. Iolanda Romano, expert in participatory planning and creation of public consensus, will lead us through the urban transformations, from the aspects of urban sustainability to those of digitization, which are creating new models for the use of services in the city and in local and neighborhood healthcare."
