My name is Houng Soo.  I am running for VP Professional Development. I served as a Mentor Protégé Program mentor 2014 - 2016 and serving as the AVP Mentor Protégé Program since 2017. I assist the VP Professional Development in planning and executing the Mentor Protégé Program.

During my tenure, we instituted a formal mentoring program; compiled training materials to guide participants though the mentoring process; increased volunteer participation; and implemented a robust communication and marketing plan.  The mentoring program has fielded two of the largest cohorts since its inception in 2012, and the Chapter has a pool of trained mentors.

I am also a member of the PMIWDC-INCOSE WMA Collaboration Joint Working Group, a 2021 initiative to explore collaborative learning opportunities for Program Managers and System Engineers.

I am a lifelong learner, always looking to expand knowledge and understanding.  I will use my experience in program development and volunteer engagement to deliver professional development opportunities to meet the professional and personal development needs of the membership.

I appreciate your vote and support.
