PMIWDCs 2024 Professional Mentoring Program for Professional Growth and Excellence

Mentor Protege Program

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 PMIWDC Mentoring Program, designed exclusively for Chapter members! This six-month program, running from April to October, offers a unique opportunity for seasoned PMP professionals to mentor developing project management professionals. The program follows a structured framework with one-on-one mentor-protégé meetings, group sessions, and the creation of essential mentoring artifacts. As a participant, you'll benefit from a wealth of resources, including a "toolbox" of articles, activities, templates, and recommended readings. Notably, the program includes a special military transition component, pairing veterans interested in project management with mentors possessing a military background. To be part of this enriching experience, ensure you meet the eligibility requirements, such as maintaining PMIWDC Chapter membership throughout the program period. Protégés should commit 2-5 hours per month, attend program group meetings, and engage proactively with their designated mentor. Similarly, mentors, who should be seasoned and certified PMP© professionals, will commit to mentoring activities and group meetings. The application period opens on January 8, 2024, and closes on February 5, 2024. Don't miss this chance to enhance your project management skills and contribute to the growth of our professional community!
