Join us for our PMIWDC Annual Membership Meeting to hear our CEO Danni Richards reviewing our 2022 highlights. The PMIWDC Youth and Social Impact Team will be presenting awards for the 9th Grade Project Management Write-up Pilot Program as well as awarding Scholarships to the 2022 recipients. Our 2023 CEO, Kendall Lott will give you a brief look into what is planned for 2023. You will have an opportunity to network, and our new Board Members will be introduced to the Membership. We are also excited to share that Lee Lambert will be presenting, “A Look at the Future of Project Management Through the Eyes of the Past”. Changes keep coming at a faster pace than ever before. In this presentation Lee will examine what he believes the future holds for tomorrow’s project managers based on the evolution of the PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK). PMI has established the foundation for an entire profession, but it has undergone dramatic change – or has it? The PMBoK 7th Edition has morphed and is now unrecognizable to those of us who have so diligently adhered to the PMBoK versions from 1996 until the issuance of a completely overhauled document in January 2022. The impacts of this latest revision are far reaching, and Lee will share what he considers the truth about the future of the PMBoK. Join Lee for an informative, factual and humorous discussion of PMBoK and its future. This is an in-person event with a buffet dinner and door prizes. Register now as seating is limited.
