Industry Insights: PMI 4:0: Amplifying Our Impact With Dave Garrett
The world is undergoing change like never before – and organizations need change-makers with the project skills to make sure transformation is successfully delivered. That’s why PMI is expanding its reach, broadening its impact, and offering a refreshed portfolio of products and offerings to empower more people than ever before to make ideas a reality.
Disciplined Agile: A Conversation With Scott Ambler
The Disciplined Agile (DA) tool kit provides straightforward guidance to help organizations streamline their processes in a context-sensitive manner, providing a solid foundation for business agility. It does this by showing how the various activities such as Finance, Portfolio Management, Solution Delivery (software development), IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Vendor Management and many others work together. DA also describes what these activities should address, provides a range of options for doing so, and describes the trade-offs associated with each option. DA’s fundamental advice is to start where you are, do the best that you can given the situation that you face, and always strive to get better.
We have Scott Ambler, who along with Mark Lines co-created the Project Management Institute’s DA tool kit. We’re going to have a conversation with Scott about the DA tool kit and you will have an opportunity to ask him questions about it.
