The Project Manager’s Journey: The Promise of Tomorrow
Call for Speakers
The PMIWDC Chapter is looking for Project Management Professionals to speak at its Virtual 2021 Project Management Symposium.
There are three opportunities to contribute to the PM Symposium sessions:
Session Speaker Develop and present at one of the breakout sessions. Each session is 30 minutes of content and 10 minutes of Q&A. We are interested in presentations on Agile, New Technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science), Risk, and People in Projects but will consider all topics in project management. We are looking for up to 10 session speakers.
PM Stories Develop a 5-10 minute story to chronicle your journey as a project manager. Your story can chronicle your path to becoming a PM, an interesting event related to your work, or an innovation you applied to your project. Stories will be prerecorded, and 5-6 will be shared in a single breakout session. We are looking for up to 18 stories.
Hard Business Problems Develop a 1-page description of a hard business problem you faced in your job or at your organization to be presented to PMI project management professionals for their ideas, perspective and solutions. These problems should relate to the project management discipline. Three problems will be presented and discussed in a single breakout session with a moderator to keep the discussion moving. We are looking for up to 9 Hard Business Problems.
