As the largest PMI Chapter in the United States, one of our primary goals and areas of focus continues to be to empower professionally diverse members to evolve in their Project Management Careers through professional development and networking opportunities. We have adopted our platforms in response to the pandemic to offer members, current partners, and future partners virtual options to continue to connect, learn, and grow.
It is an exciting time in our Chapter’s history, and we have spent the last 60 days consulting with our member volunteers and Chapter leaders to develop a Career Development Series. First up in this series will be a Virtual Career Fair taking place on Thursday, 5 November 2020 from 6:00PM-7:30PM EST.
Effective project management requires the skillset to control the competing objectives of time, cost, scope, and quality. Participants in the Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management: A Project Management Balancing Act workshop will get practice developing communications and change management plans to be able to balance stakeholder engagement and change management efficiently.
This essential-assets training is a focused interactive workshop that integrates practical approaches to plan development and management, team exercises, and interactive discussion in two half-day training sessions.
Join the PMIWDC chapter for this training opportunity and earn seven PDUs in the leadership and strategic and business management talent areas. Join us Wednesday, 18 November, 3pm-6pm, and Thursday, 19 November, 8am–Noon (EST). The cost associated with this event is $200 USD, and certified project managers will earn up to 7 PDUs.
