Projects are all about people and politics, which can cause projects to fail.
This session provides a psychology insight into what key stakeholder powers of influence exist and how to deal with them to achieve a high level of engagement and buy-in for projects and the tools in the toolbox for dealing with stakeholder challenges.
This session provides a troubleshooter approach that explains:
- How to deal with difficult key stakeholders;
- When a steering committee is needed;
- How to utilise advisory groups;
- How to leverage project champions.
This event will offer insights into the complexity of stakeholder styles, and how to understand the most effective ways to approach and engage with them, including turning around the most troublesome people.

We would also like to invite you to attend PMI Toastmasters, which meets immediately before the Chapter Meeting servicing the local community of project managers in Perth. Good leaders are good communicators. In Toastmasters you will improve your speaking skills and develop leadership abilities in order to become a better leader.
