PMI recently has been made aware of incidents in which organizations falsely claim to be or to represent PMI by extending offers to register you for hotel rooms or PMI events. Please note PMI will not reach out to solicit  hotel rooms or register you for a PMI event. Should you be contacted by any organization or come across any other website that appears to reference EMEA Congress and claims to offer lower rates or a promotion to register through such organization and/or website, we urge you to use extreme caution and contact events@pmi.org with any relevant information.  These entities often create fake websites that look authentic, but are not authorized to represent PMI.

It has come to our attention that companies may be contacting some of PMI’s sponsors and exhibitors claiming to offer our attendee lists. This is a common occurrence with large industry conferences and trade shows in recent years. It is PMI’s policy to never sell, rent or share attendee contact information, including email. No company is authorized to distribute or sell any email lists of attendees for our events. PMI is not providing these lists or generating these messages. If you receive an email offering to sell you a list of PMI conference attendees, we recommend you do not respond to it. By responding–even with a request to unsubscribe–you confirm that your email address is a valid one, which may increase the likelihood that you’ll be contacted again. Please forward any email solicitations to events@pmi.org.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all participants. Because meeting rooms often are cold, you may wish to bring either a jacket or a sweater. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes! You will definitely be getting in a lot of steps during your time in Prague.

PMI activities are reserved for anyone over the age of 21. All PMI sponsored receptions where alcohol is served must be of minimum purchase age of the country where the event is held.

You will receive a confirmation letter once your registration is paid in full. This confirmation also serves as your receipt.

Materials will be available upon arrival to the event location (registration area)

Presentation PDFs will be available at least one week from the event. Access to presentations are for registered participants using their email address used at the time of registration. Presentations will be available for six months post event dates.

Note: SeminarsWorld® presentations will be distributed at the event to registered SeminarsWorld participants.

Unlike previous years, papers will not be available.

Interested individuals who would like to participate as a Presenter are welcome to submit a proposal to PMI In-person events. The selection process is competitive and we seek the highest quality presentations to ensure a successful event. The selection process is guided by subject matter experts from around the world. The number of PDUs awarded varies for each activity at Congress.

All applicable educational sessions that meet the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) will have designated professional development units (PDUs).To identify if a session includes PDUs, be sure to refer to the event mobile app or onsite event guide for details.

To ensure your professional development units (PDUs) are reported on your behalf, participants will need to have their badge scanned upon entry to a session. These claims will automatically be uploaded to the Participant’s PDU transcripts that hold one or more of the following: PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, PMP, PgMP, PfMP.

PDUs will appear on certification holders’ transcripts within 7 business days from completion of the attended session. Participants may visit ccrs.pmi.org to confirm PDU reporting.

For activities without PDU designations, Participants may continue to self-report to ccrs.pmi.org

PMI is required to charge VAT at the standard rate of 21% to all delegates attending the event. The purchase of exhibition and sponsorship services made available by PMI for EU business delegates is subject to VAT in the delegate’s country of residence. In the event that a transaction is subject to the reverse charge mechanism, PMI will issue a net-invoice.

In cases where Czech VAT is not charged because the delegate is a business established and registered for VAT purposes in the Czech Republic, PMI will require the business customer to provide a Czech VAT registration number and a business address in the Czech Republic.

Organisations sending five or more employees are eligible to receive a discount off the individual member and non-member rates, as applicable.  

Definition of a group - Individuals from an organisation (profit or non-profit) attending an event.  A single person from the organisation must serve as PMI’s single point of contact for all attendees eligible for the group rate. PMI Chapters are not eligible for group rates.

  • 5-14 attendees: 10% discount on EMEA Congress and SeminarsWorld fees
  • 15-19 attendees: 20% discount on EMEA Congress and SeminarsWorld fees
  • 20+ attendees: 20% discount on EMEA Congress and SeminarsWorld fees 

Instructions for group registrations:

  1. Email events@pmi.org or contact your PMI account manager to submit the list of attendees from your organisation (or to confirm interest).
  2. Within 7 days, the PMI events team will determine your discount level and respond with group registration rates applicable to your organisation based on the number of attendees and registration dates. 
  3. Receive a custom registration link to distribute across your organisation. Upon request, organisational attendee lists and reports may be shared with the primary point of contact.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Actual fee charged is based on member level (member/non-member) and registration date (early bird/ regular). Discount level is based on number of people attending EMEA Congress or SeminarsWorld, not combined, and not the number of products each person purchases.

Historical registration discount is based on previous years’ attendance. Company email addresses are required when submitting the list of attendees from the same company.  Registration rates applicable to your organisation based on the number of attendees and registration dates.

To be eligible for a student registration rate, a PMI Student Membership is required. View student membership information. Once you have secured your PMI student membership, return to the registration site to register as a student

To be eligible for a government rate, a government ID is required onsite at check in to confirm that a participant qualifies for the PMI government rate. A government ID must be from a state, local country or federal government entity and not from a company that does government business, unless a participant can show they have a government email and ID.

To be eligible for a retiree registration rate, a PMI retiree membership is required. View PMI retiree membership information. Once you have secured your PMI membership, return to the registration site to register as a retiree

Yes, a non-member or expired membership can purchase membership through the registration website. Simply enter the registration portal as a non-member. During the registration process you are able to add PMI individual member dues and the application fee to your cart. You will then be eligible to receive member pricing for Congress and SeminarsWorld. Please note your membership benefits will not begin until payment has been received and your application has been processed by PMI (approximately 72 hours, Monday through Friday).

Membership renewals or reinstatements should be made by visiting myPMI prior to completing registration.

A confirmation letter will also serve as a receipt of payment.

If you register online, an e-mail confirmation will be sent immediately to the e-mail address you provided during the registration process.

If you faxed your registration, your confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the registration form within four business days of receipt.

If no e-mail is provided, a confirmation will be faxed.

If neither e-mail nor fax is provided, confirmation will be mailed to the street address provided on your registration form.

Visit the EMEA Congress registration page and login using the email and password you created during registration. You will have the ability to make non-transactional changes like updating your profile or add additional paid opportunities (ie adding activities, guests etc).

Cancellations/Refunds

Deadline: 30 days before the first day of the event
All cancellation requests must be received in writing and emailed to pmiemea@experient-inc.com.  

Please note: PMI Membership Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Once your registration is processed, we will update your membership purchase to your account; however, please allow approximately 10 days for your membership to be applied to your account.

REGISTRANTS REQUESTING EMBASSY LETTER (VISA) DECLINED 
Deadline: Two weeks before the first day of the event.
Registration fee paid minus $150.00 per registration = Refund Amount
It is recommended that Visa applications must be sent to the appropriate Embassy at least 6 weeks from the start date of the event.

NO REFUND | Any refund requests will need to be requested 30 days before the first day of the event. Requests received 29 days or less before the first day of the event will not be eligible for a refund.

All applicable refunds will be issued following the close of the event. NOTE: A refund will be returned in the original purchase format.  If paying with a credit card, a refund will take an additional 10 business to post to your account. There are no transfers from one location to another or across calendar years, or other PMI events.

Deadline: Requests must be received two weeks before the first day of the event. Substitute registrants will be responsible for the nonmember fee, if applicable.

EMEA Congress registration transfers are not available across PMI events. (ie cannot be used towards credit for another PMI event.)

All refund requests must be received in writing and emailed to pmisw@experient-inc.com.

If PMI cancels a seminar for any reason, PMI assumes no responsibility for nonrefundable airline tickets or other travel costs. PMI will make every effort to immediately notify registrants of a cancellation. PMI reserves the right to cancel any seminar that has insufficient enrollment.

Purchase Order

Please choose the purchase order option on the payment section when completing your registration online. Once completed, invoices will be generated and emailed.Please be advised that funds must be received and verified by PMI no later than 2 weeks from the start of the event. Registration is not confirmed or considered complete until a participant’s account shows a zero balance. Participants will not be permitted to attend any activities until the outstanding balance is settled. Credit card or cash will be required to complete payments when onsite.

Wire Transfer

Please choose the wire transfer payment option on the payment section when completing your registration online. Once completed, instructions on how to complete payment will be sent to you via email. Please be advised that funds must be received and verified by PMI no later than 2 weeks from the start of the event. Registration is not confirmed or considered complete until a participant’s account shows a zero balance. Travel Visa Requests

During the online registration process, you will have the option to request an Embassy Letter to attend the event. You will receive the letter via email 48 hours after you complete and pay for your registration. If you choose to pay by check, wire transfer or purchase order as your method of payment, you will receive an email notifying you to pay, with instructions on how to make your payment.

NOTE: Refunds due to being denied a visa will only be honored if PMI is notified of the denial two weeks before the start date of the event.
