Board open deck excursion buses and explore Prague’s city centre and the environs: Pankrac, referred to as the Prague Manhattan, both river banks, stronghold Vysehrad (which at one point served as the seat of Bohemian kings in the middle ages), Dancing House, Saints Cyril and Methodius Cathedral (mainly known as parachuters hideaway during Operation Anthropoid in 1942). Tour will drive by the Charles Bridge, the Royal Garden, Hradcany Castle Square, Jewish Quarter and the Old Town Square. Tour ends in the Wenceslas Square which past served as the Horse Market. Transportation will also be provided back to the Prague Congress Centre.
Vltava River Cruise
Enjoy a quick bus ride to the Old Town and board replicas of old boats which used to cruise the Vltava River for centuries. You’ll see a beautiful, yet different view of Prague, known as the City of 100 Spires as you cruise by the colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and under the Charles Bridge, lined with statues of Catholic saints.
Walking Tour of Prague Castle
The Prague Castle is the largest castle complex worldwide. It was the seat of Czech kings and queens in the Middle ages, and currently houses the President’s office. On this visit you will walk by St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace and the picturesque Golden Lane; a narrow, genuine medieval street with tiny fairy-tale houses with small windows. Franz Kafka lived in one almost a century ago! Comfortable walking shoes suggested.
