One Microsoft Place

Off-site Learning Session: One Microsoft Place

One Microsoft Place, situated in Leopardstown, Dublin officially opened in early 2018. Today, there are more than 2,000 members of staff and approximately 71 different nationalities working in the building. With an LED waterfall and digital lake, an indoor “mountain” and a “DreamSpace” for teaching the next generation technology, the building marks another step in Microsoft’s cultural shift towards “One Microsoft”. Join this off-site tour of the building to see the physical manifestation of Microsoft´s cultural transformation.

Group transportation from the CCD to Microsoft will be provided (pick up at the CCD is 8.00).

Teeling Distillery

Off-site Learning Session: Teeling Distillery

Established in Dublin in 2015, Teeling Distillery is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin.  Take part in this presentation and tour with a member of the distillery team to learn about the technical aspects of whiskey making process.  Experience the complete whisky making process and conclude the tour with a Trinity Tasting.

Group transportation from the CCD to Teelings will be provided (pick up at the CCD is 8.30).

Royal Collage of Surgeons

Off-site Learning Session: RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland)

Recently awarded the 2018 PMI Award for Project Excellence for The National Training Programme for Emergency Medicine in Ireland, RCSI has been at the forefront of educating healthcare professionals to set and support professional standards for surgical training and practice in Ireland since 1784. Located in the heart of Dublin with four international campuses, RCSI trains future clinical professionals. Join this off-site tour to learn more about RCSI and visit the training facilities and campuses.
