PMI-HVC Spring Professional Development Day (PDD)
PMI Chapter Event
19 July 2024
10:00am - 2:00pm EST
Virtual via MS Teams
Transformation often feels thrust upon us. We react with external pressures, and for some of us, we collapse under the stress. But what if transformation was intentional. That instead of fearing change, we look for it. That we embrace a mindset of evolution build on a foundation of Curiosity and Courage.
Join us for this workshop session where you will find out more about how you tolerate - and don't tolerate - transformation. Discover what makes you strong in the face of change, and what makes you uncomfortable. Then channel courage and curiosity and use the discomfort to become more than you were before.
Using case studies, breakout coaching sessions, and a choice of two assessments, you will walk away with a plan to change with change, and to experience continuous transformation.
This is an interactive session. At the same time, we do cater for different learning styles and all exercises will be offered in three formats - Self-reflection, discussion in pairs/small groups, and facilitator led session for those who prefer.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify your perspective on change.
2. Experience how curiosity and courage can change that perspective.
3. Build a plan for engaging change and transformation in a new way.
4. Identify two strategies for yourself that you can share with others to replace trepidation with excitement in the face of change.
5. Set your intention to transform.
