Conflict, when handled well, can be one of your greatest tools for building trust, making better decisions, and driving stronger project outcomes. The best project managers do not avoid conflict. They master how to handle it and move through it.

In this dynamic, hands-on 2-day workshop, you’ll go beyond surface-level communication tips and develop a practical, personalized conflict resolution toolkit grounded in real-world project scenarios. You’ll walk away with strategies to prevent conflict, navigate high-stakes conversations, and lead your team through tension without losing focus or momentum.

Quickly identifying the root causes of conflict before they escalate. Adapting your approach to manage different conflict styles and personalities. Turning difficult moments into opportunities for collaboration, clarity, and better results, and staying grounded, composed, and effective in high-pressure situations.

  • Module 1: Understanding Conflict 
    Identify sources of conflict, recognize early warning signs, and apply conflict diagnosis through a case study. 

    Module 2: Conflict Styles and Adaptability 
    Explore different conflict styles, complete a self-assessment, and practice adapting responses through breakout activities. 

    Module 3: Communication Skills for Conflict 
    Develop key communication techniques for de-escalating tension and practice structured conversation models. 
  • Module 4: Structured Conflict Resolution Techniques 
    Apply the Interest-Based Relational Approach (IBR) framework to resolve conflict (breakout activity and group reflection). 

    Module 5: Leading Through Conflict 
    Strengthen personal leadership in conflict situations, self-reflect, and build a team-based "Leader's Conflict Guide." 

    Final Reflection and Personal Action Plan 
    Develop an individual conflict resolution action plan, accountability, and review resources for ongoing growth.
