Our Commitment to Sustainable Actions
PMI Training is committed to sustainability, and takes action to preserve our natural environment, promote a healthy and inclusive society, and execute sustainable economic practices and partnerships. In alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and as part of PMI’s membership in the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, we have undertaken the following sustainability measures for our trainings throughout the year.
We utilize technology and discourage printing of all PMI Training materials to reduce paper usage and waste. This includes providing links to electronic copies of all course materials, sharing electronic prework and pre-event communications, and survey evaluations.
For our in-person trainings, we also encourage sustainable practices to reduce waste and the carbon footprint of the event. We don’t distribute printed course materials, and daily sign-in sheets are electronic via QR codes. Additionally, the notebooks we provide are made of recycled materials, our name badges use a “print and go” system to reduce waste and eliminate plastic use, and we encourage attendees to bring a reusable water bottle each day. We also carefully source our hotel partners, to ensure that we are supporting businesses which are dedicated to sustainability and supporting economic, social, and environmental quality of life.
By incorporating eco-friendly practices and partnerships into our daily work, PMI and our community can make a more sustainable, greener world a reality. We ask each of you to join us in our commitment to sustainability; let’s work together to reduce material use, avoid unnecessary waste, and reuse and recycle materials after use. We can all do our part to help our planet thrive.
PMI Event Code of Conduct
A platform to learn, engage and spark thought-provoking conversations—impacting not just today, but also tomorrow and the future. This is what events are all about, and we provide a welcoming environment for all. Harassment (including, but not limited to, homophobia, racism and/or behavior that discriminates against a group or class of people) or inappropriate behavior of any kind toward any participant will not be tolerated. We require all event participants and attendees to adhere PMI's Core Values and PMI's Code of Conduct.
Please contact [email protected] to report any misconduct at an event that undermines PMI's Core Values or violates PMI's Code of Conduct. We take all reports seriously and will endeavor to address each promptly. The result of failing to uphold our Core Values and/or Code of Conduct could include termination of membership or certification, expulsion from an event without refund, and/or dismissal from future activities with us.
Professional Development Units (PDUs)
PDUs are the measuring unit used to quantify professional development as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. 1 PDU = 1 hour of learning/activity. Attendees may visit ccrs.pmi.org for more information regarding how to maintain PMI certifications.
How many PDUs will I receive for attending PMI Training? The number of PDUs awarded varies for each individual training offered. Please check the website for each training's PDU information.
How do I claim PDUs for PMI Training? How do I file for PDUs? PDUs are reported on your behalf. These claims will be automatically uploaded to the PDU transcripts of participating attendees that hold one or more of the following: CAPM®, DASM™, DASSM™, DAC™, DAVSC™, PMI-ACP®, PMI-PBA®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-SP®, PMP®, PgMP®, and PfMP®. PDUs will appear on certification holders’ transcripts within 21 business days from completion of the attended training. Have additional questions regarding PDUs? Contact certification at [email protected].

What is the PMI Training Agreement?
All attendees of this event must agree to the policy below during the registration process. By registering for PMI Training, you agree to abide by the following provisions:
ALL presentations are the property of the Project Management Institute and the Instructors. Any distribution of the training by electronic means or otherwise is strictly prohibited. Any reuse of training materials requires prior written consent of PMI, the Instructor, or a legal representative thereof. Please contact [email protected] for copyright and reuse information.
When an attendee interacts with sponsored content or booths, the attendee consents to PMI sharing their name, title, company, industry, state, country, phone number, and email address with the specific sponsor(s) with whom they interact. This data sharing provides sponsors the ability to follow-up afterwards. If an attendee does not wish to have their information shared with sponsors, they must refrain from interacting with sponsored content and/or virtual booths. All sponsored content and booths will be clearly advertised as such.
Attendee List Scam Warning
It has come to our attention that companies may be contacting some of PMI’s sponsors and exhibitors claiming to offer our attendee lists. This is a common occurrence with large industry conferences and trade shows in recent years. It is PMI’s policy to NEVER sell, rent or share attendee contact information, including email. No company is authorized to distribute or sell any email lists of attendees for our events. PMI is not providing these lists or generating these messages. If you receive an email offering to sell you a list of PMI attendees, we recommend you do not respond to it. By responding—even with a request to unsubscribe—you confirm that your email address is a valid one, which may increase the likelihood that you’ll be contacted again. Please forward any email solicitations to [email protected].
Hotel and Promotional Email Scam Warning
PMI recently has been made aware of incidents in which organizations falsely claim to be or to represent PMI by extending offers to register you for hotel rooms or PMI events. Please note PMI will not reach out to solicit hotel rooms or register you for a PMI event. Should you be contacted by any organization or come across any other website that appears to reference PMI Training and claims to offer lower rates or a promotion to register through such organization and/or website, we urge you to use extreme caution and contact [email protected] with any relevant information. These entities often create fake websites that look authentic, but are not authorized to represent PMI.
