Resilience is an especially important topic for times of crisis, turmoil, recovery, and rebuilding. This seminar will help you enhance your personal resiliency and contribute to organizational resiliency. This workshop is intended to answer four questions:

  • Why is it better to say we bounce forward than bounce back?
  • What is resilience?
  • How do individuals cultivate it?
  • How can organizations develop it?

This course will provide examples of resilient individuals, organizations, and systems. Through those examples, you will unpack specific lessons and actionable practices.

Building Strategic Power
23 June | 7:00-8:00 a.m. EDT (UTC-4) | 1 PDU/.1 CEU
Instructor: Carl Pritchard

Did someone say strategy? Breaking down a mission statement for project power. Project managers often have hidden power and authority. It’s hidden so well, in fact, that they can’t even find it! During this one-hour long event, participants parse a corporate mission statement to identify those elements that defend best practice project management and prove the critical tie-in between project efforts and the benefits realization those projects are supposed to achieve.

The Road to Retention: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
21 June | 7:00-8:00 a.m. EDT (UTC-4) | 1 PDU/.1 CEU
Instructor: Carlene Szostak

Have you ever had one of those moments when you realize that it appears engagement is poor, which is directly derailing your project and causing you frustration? Every employee brings unique strengths to the workplace but knowing how to embrace both the differences and strengths, while focused on project goals, is an art that we all need to master in the 21st century. Embracing diversity and inclusion has become an overriding focus for organizations that wish to succeed in today's business world.  This one-hour session emphasizes that diversity is far more than discussing harassment and discrimination. In the end, the key to delivering any project successfully comes down to the “human” factor. Seeking out and understanding, leads to accepting and including all of the diverse traits, beliefs, talents, knowledge, styles and experiences employees bring to the workplace, regardless of a legal obligation to do so.
