Have you ever had a leader who learned the tips and techniques of what to do to lead better but how they used those techniques left you feeling manipulated rather than led? It often happens because most instructors of leadership teach you what to do but not how to do it. In this course you will learn the what and the how of leading in all three dimensions - head, hands, and heart. 

Leadership isn't only about changing behaviors (hands). Exceptional leaders also know how to transform hearts and minds. In this course, you will discover how the best leaders embrace emotions as a tool, how to use story to touch hearts. You will learn the T.E.A.R. model of motivation and change. You will take an assessment that measures all three dimensions of your life and learn how to use your best talents and attributes to become a more effective and authentic leader.

Participants will be required to complete a 3-part assessment prior to the workshop. The cost of this assessment is $125 and is included in your seminar fee. The assessment cost is non-refundable.

What You Will Learn

  • Discover how to use DiSC behavioral assessment to improve your communication
  • Apply the seven (7) dimensions of Motivation to influence behaviors and actions
  • Integrate the T.E.A.R. Model into your self-leadership and leadership (thoughts -> emotions -> actions -> results)

 Instructional methods include: case studies, individual exercises, group exercises, simulations, role playing

Traci Duez

Traci is a sought-after speaker in the project management community. She has spoken at over 120 PMI events in the past 6 years to over 14,000 project managers and leaders including 4 four PMI Global Congresses in North America and Europe. Traci earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She then entered the master's program in athletic coaching at The Ohio State University. She has coached basketball at the high school and collegiate levels. She was a project manager for 17 years and a director of over 100 consultants for a nationwide IT consulting firm.
