In this two-day seminar, you will learn how to implement Project TLC (Teambuilding, Leadership and Communication) for healthy and successful projects. You will master the simple techniques that enhance team behavior and group dynamics, improve team members' awareness and accountability. You will learn how to LEAD, using four simple strategies: Listening, Encouraging, Acting and Delegating. And you will improve the way you communicate to and among your stakeholders for continued project success. This seminar is for project or program managers, and anyone who wants to become a successful project leader.

What You Will Learn

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the value of teamwork and its link to business outcomes and how the “right” set of behaviors can support productive teamwork
  • Identify cultural attributes in the business environment and how they influence team performance
  • Diagnose common team problems and introducing easy methods to improve team interaction and reduce conflict
  • Describe different leadership attributes
  • Compare various communication methods and their effect on different audiences

Lisa DiTullio

Lisa DiTullio is VP, Program & Portfolio Management at Foundation Medicine, a world-leading molecular insights company and is the founder of Your Project Office, a training and consulting organization dedicated to introducing project management as a business competency and enabling healthcare organizations to improve decision-making, instill accountability, and enhance communications.

Lisa is the author of multiple project management books, articles, and blogs. She is a recognized international speaker in her field and is known for her story-telling to impart messages that are both impactful and practical.

Lisa is a past member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the past chair of the Women’s Business Connection. She is the founder of Leadership in Action, a program designed to create a sense of empowerment for high-school girls.

Lisa currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Cohasset Maritime Institute and is an avid (and sometimes competitive) open-water rower.
