Need to Know

Leadership Institute Master Class (LIMC) Eligibility Changes

Since its inception in 2002, the LIMC program has undergone a number of revisions to meet the changing needs of our volunteer leaders, and PMI. As we look to the future we recognize a need to enhance the skills of chapter leaders earlier in their leadership journey so they can contribute to their chapter for years to come. The new eligibility requires applicants to have held an elected or appointed position in a chapter (does not have to be a board position) for no more than 3 years. Additional changes will be detailed in the coming weeks. The application period will open in early January. Find out more information on the program.

2019 CMAG Initiative Report

The Chapter Member Advisory Group (CMAG) is a team of eight global volunteers working in partnership with PMI Chapter Development. We hope this overview provides you with useful information in your role as Chapter Leaders, Region Mentors and the PMI community.

Global Celebration of Service – A Huge Success

2019 was such a special year for PMI. As we celebrated our 50th Anniversary, we also discovered how much we share a passion for service, for giving back, and for helping to make the world a better place. While our Global Celebration of Service program will be reshaped in the new year, our support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and our commitment to service will continue well into the future. We thank the thousands of chapter leaders, members and volunteers who put their hearts into this program this year and did so much good around the globe. Stay tuned for more information on how you can continue to participate in 2020 and beyond.

PMI Chapters Moving Fast on Brand Implementation

We are working hard to create your new logo design that captures your chapter’s unique identity. Many of you have already received your full logo package, but if you haven’t yet, rest assured it is coming soon. If your logo is not yet approved, please work with your chapter partner to finish it up as soon as possible so you can start the new year with a fresh new visual identity!

Once you have your logo package in hand, you can connect with your website vendor to get your newly rebranded website underway. If you’re not affiliated with a website vendor, you can continue to work with your current vendor—just give them your logo package. We’ll reimburse your chapter up to $500USD for the work. We’re moving at full speed to get all chapter websites rebranded by the end of Q1 2020, so be sure to ask your chapter partner if you need support.

For more Brand Resources, including Brand Guidelines, logos, Brand symbols, images and more, visit the Marketing Portal. And, check back regularly for newly updated brochures and materials.
