Chapter Challenges During COVID-19: Special LinkedIn Group Formed

A closed LinkedIn group has been created for chapter leaders worldwide to connect and discuss strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic and share best practices related to the “new ways of working”. Group membership is limited to active chapter leaders. Join the LinkedIn group today.

Tax Filing Deadline for U.S. Chapters is 15 May

The filing deadline for U.S. chapters that operate on a fiscal year is 15 May. The 990 Informational Tax Return comes in three different forms:

  • 990: For chapters that have gross receipts in 2019 greater than or equal to US$200,000 or total assets greater than or equal to US$500,000
  • 990EZ: For chapters that have gross receipts in 2019 less than US$200,000 or total assets less than US$500,000
  • 990N: The E-File postcard for chapters that have gross receipts in 2019 less than or equal to US$50,000

Once you have filed your return with the IRS, please send a copy to your Chapter Administrator for inclusion and archival in the Component System (CS).
