What attracted you to project management?

I wanted to have a strong impact early in my career.

What's the best project you've managed?

The US$100 million Mobitel Stage VII Network Expansion Project. We closed three months ahead of schedule—and won some awards.

How have your professional certifications helped you do your job?

They gave me a structured starting point to solve any type of problem.

What's the biggest challenge in your current project?

Blending millennials into the project environment. They bring enormous cultural challenges as well as opportunities.

What's most rewarding about your job?

I solve a new problem with each project.

What's something most people don't know about project management?

It's independent from subject matter expertise.

How would you describe your project management style?

Let's get it done!

What's an important project you wish you could have worked on?

Making the first iPhone.

To what famous person would you give an honorary PMI certification?

Emperor Qin Shi Huang. He combined various state walls into the single Great Wall of China we know today.
