A number of leading project management experts were asked for their best advice on climbing the corporate ladder. Rose Mary Tyler, chair of the Women in Project Management SIG, she that she'd learned that it's easier to swim with the current than upstream. Gregory Alexander, Eastman Chemical Company's Manager of Innovation and Product Development, spoke of the importance of stakeholder management and communication. Julien Boyance, founder of Newton Enterprises Ltd., said that his career took off after he began thinking about the company's best interest, balanced with industry standards and a high standard of ethics.
