Today, more than 160 of the world's educational institutions offer advanced degrees in project management. This article discusses the benefits and the challenges of pursuing--particularly at mid-career--advanced university-level training in project management It also overviews the results of the PMI Project Management Salary Survey--Fourth Edition, which shows project managers who possess advanced degrees received a higher median salary than project managers with bachelor degrees.
