What types of projects do you oversee?
Transformational technology projects—everything from anti-fraud solutions to contactless ATM technology.
What's a typical day like for you?
Every day brings unpredictable challenges that require immediate attention. Skills in juggling tasks are a requirement!
How do you manage risks in such a rapidly changing environment?
It's important to have a strong, yet agile, governance framework to anticipate threats and respond quickly.
What do you wish more people knew about project management?
It's really about having a certain mindset—being adaptive, anticipatory and articulate are traits coded into project managers' DNA.
What are your hobbies?
I'm into extreme water sports: windsurfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding.
What's your project management style?
Flexible. I adapt my style to suit the project and team.
What advice would you give other project managers?
Every failure brings you closer to success. If you're afraid of failure, don't bother trying.
What technology can you not live without?
Definitely my iPhone!
What new technology will be most useful for project managers?
Cloning. Then we could be everywhere at once.
What celebrity would you want on your project team?
Elon Musk. His ability to turn compelling ideas into realities is something all project managers aspire to do. PM
