What attracted you to project management?
The power of being able to successfully deliver positive value and outcomes.
How do you use project management in everyday life?
My wife and I built our own home. It required a large amount of funding, planning, execution and resilience.
What's the biggest challenge in your current project?
Getting alignment from a wide range of stakeholders. You need a high level of engagement throughout the journey to deliver value, particularly during the final stages.
What's most rewarding about your job?
The people and teams. The culture within and around a team will ultimately drive the success or failure of your project.
What's a famous project you wish you could have worked on?
Google Glass. It was the perfect—or imperfect—combination of innovation, complexity, cultural transference and value.

Frank Zappa. He was a consummate and sometimes controversial leader who allowed his band to constantly improvise, but always within his vision.
