A Team Looks to the Sky for Inspiration on Its Solar Observatory Renovation

The project team at design firm Snøhetta looked to the stars for inspiration on its decade-long project renovating Norway's Solobservatoriet, also known as the Harestua Solar Observatory. The most pressing requirement was to build the astronomical facility on the site of an observatory while keeping the surrounding Nordic landscape pristine and intact.
