System of monitoring and evaluation of programs: a case study

By using a methodic approach to planning, monitoring, and evaluating programs, organizations can improve their capability to accomplish their business objectives. This paper explains how the Panamanian Authority for Micro, Medium, and Small Companies established a management framework to manage programs and projects that promote a national spirit of entrepreneurialism. In doing so, it discusses a methodology for monitoring and evaluating programs and projects, one that can help an organization achieve program success, gather information on program outcomes, and meet time and budget constraints.
