What is the dress/attire at the LIM?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all LIM attendees. Because meeting rooms often are cold, you may wish to bring either a jacket or a sweater.
What is the best way for me to arrange my hotel accommodations?
You may reserve your hotel accommodations through the housing link provided on your LIM confirmation. You may also go directly to the Travel+Accommodations page of the North America LIM website to book your hotel.
You will receive a Registration ID (Reg. ID) number when your LIM registration is paid in full. The Reg. ID will appear on your meeting confirmation.
How do I modify my registration?
Visit the North America LIM registration page and login using the password you created during registration. You will have the ability to make changes like adding or removing a guest and adding sessions or activities.
How can I recover my lost password?
Visit the North America LIM registration/ login page and reset your password by clicking the link below the login section.
Will I receive a registration confirmation letter?
If you register online, an e-mail confirmation will be sent immediately to the e-mail address you provide on the registration form. If you fax your registration, your confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the registration form within four business days of receipt. If no e-mail is provided, confirmation will be faxed. If neither e-mail nor fax is provided, confirmation will be mailed to the street address provided on your registration form.
How will I receive my name tag and LIM materials?
You may pick up your name tag and LIM materials on-site at the registration area.
What are the fees for guests and who can register as a guest for LIM?
Attendees may register non-PMI members as a guest to attend Thursday or Friday night LIM evening reception for a $75 fee per person. A guest is considered a spouse, significant other or personal friend, NOT a business associate, staff colleague or fellow student. All guests must be 21 years of age or older. Guest registration badges will be marked appropriately and will NOT allow access to educational sessions. Guests may be added during the LIM registration process.
Does PMI offer any complimentary registrations to the LIM?
Each chapter receives one (1) complimentary registration to the LIM. The comp code is sent via email to all Chapter Presidents for distribution. If you are a Chapter President and have not received the comp code, please contact your Chapter Partner.
Can North America LIM attendees participate in Global Conference?
Yes, there will be one shared day between both events with no additional cost to
LIM attendees. North America LIM attendees will now have complimentary access to Global Conference sessions and the exhibit hall on Saturday, 6 October with featured activities such as the
PMI Escape Room, PMI in Training, Playgrounds, Poster Sessions, and more! Also, for LIM attendees
only, there are discounted rates for the remaining days of Global Conference, 7-9 October to
extend their stay.

Is a chapter with an approved "chapter with branches" model (approved MYBP by PMI) eligible for more than one complimentary registration?
Yes, a chapter with an approved “chapter with branches” model (approved MYBP by PMI) is eligible for additional complimentary registrations. Each branch is eligible for one (1) complimentary registration. Please contact your Chapter Partner for the additional complimentary registration code.
Is financial assistance available to attend LIM?
PMI offers travel grants to qualifying leaders/attendees. Additional information on travel grants can be found here.
How do I obtain a receipt for my registration fee?
You will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail once your registration is paid in full. This confirmation also serves as your receipt and contains your individual Registration ID number.
Can I be invoiced or use a purchase order for my LIM registration?
Invoices will be generated and sent by email if you chose wire transfer as your method of payment during registration. Purchase orders will not be accepted.
What types of payment methods are accepted?
Wire transfers - not available onsite
Am I able to pay by wire transfer?
Yes. Please choose the wire transfer payment option in the payment section when completing your registration online. Once you complete your registration, instructions on how to complete your payment will be sent to you. Registration is not confirmed or complete until an attendee's account is showing a zero balance. Attendees will not be permitted to attend sessions until any outstanding balance is settled. A credit card is required to complete payment onsite.

Does my registration include a ticket to the Professional Awards Gala on Saturday, 6 October 2018?
No, your LIM registration does not include a ticket to the Professional Awards Gala. However, during the registration process, you may purchase a ticket to this event for a modest $45.00 surcharge.
I registered for the LIM but I cannot attend. What is the cancellation policy?
In fairness to all LIM participants, it is necessary to charge a cancellation fee when a participant cancels his/her attendance prior to the event. A $35.00 per registrant cancellation fee will be applied to all Leadership Institute Meeting attendee cancellations received in writing twelve (12) weeks before the first day of the event. Thereafter, refunds less $70.00 processing fee per registrant will be granted up to 30 days before the first day of the event. Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the individual and/or their respective chapter. Requests received 29 days or less before the first day of the event will not be eligible for a refund. All applicable funds will be issued following the close of the event. Registration substitutions may be made in writing without penalty. All written requests must be received (2) weeks before the first day of the event. All written requests should be sent to PMICONFERENCE@experient-inc.com.
Refunds will not be given to those registrants who do not attend without cancelling in advance (no shows).
I registered for the LIM but I cannot attend. Can I send a substitute in my place?

Can I cancel on behalf of someone else?
We are sorry, but unfortunately, verification in writing from the attendee must be received for cancellation.
How will my LIM fees be refunded?
Your LIM registration fees will be refunded by the same method in which you paid. All applicable funds will be issued following the close of the LIM. Refunds will not be given to registrants who do not attend without cancelling in advance (no shows). If the refund is applied to your credit card, your credit card company may take up to 10 additional business days to post the refund to your account. Requests received 29 days or less before the first day of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
We encourage interested volunteer leaders to submit a proposal to present at LIM during the open call for presentation proposals, which typically takes place from 6-9 months before the LIM. The selection process is competitive and we seek the highest quality presentations to ensure a successful event. The selection process is guided by a volunteer review committee of your peers. Please monitor Friday Facts for notification of when the call for presentation proposals is open.
How many PDUs will I receive for attending LIM activities?
The number of PDUs awarded varies for each LIM, for each session and for each certification type. LIM specific information can be found in the onsite LIM journal.
How do I claim PDUs for the LIM? How do I file for PDUs?
PDUs will be uploaded into PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS) within four weeks of the close of LIM. Each attendee is responsible to ensure that their badge is scanned at the start of the session to receive PDU credit for attending the session. In the event you were not scanned or did not receive credit for a session(s) attended, you may submit your missing claim(s) manually.
