PMI is governed by a Board comprised of member-elected directors who serve three-year terms. The Board Chair serves as an Elected Officer of the Board per the PMI Bylaws.

The collective wisdom, experience, diversity and passion of the Board ultimately sets and executes our core ideology, purpose and values — the enduring principles that guide us — our essential reasons for being. The Board and its committees drive our vitality and relevance.

Nomination Process Timeline

1 November-29 February 2020: Call for Nominations Open

31 March: Selected candidates scheduled for interviews

24-25 April: Candidate interviews conducted virtually

22 June: Election Information sent to members

3 August: Deadline to submit electronic ballots (5 p.m. EST)

October: Election results announced at Global Conference
