The Construction Performance and Materials Management course is bundled with an assessment designed to help you enhance the efficiency and productivity of built environment projects. In this course, project managers and stakeholders involved in engineering and construction will gain an understanding of:

• Tools and techniques for effective materials management.

This course can be taken independently or as a step to becoming a PMI Senior Construction Professional (PMI-SCP)™.

The estimated time to complete the course is 6 to 10 hours. The course is only available in English and can be accessed in course library through your myPMI dashboard.  After completing the course and assessment, you will receive a course-specific badge.

What is a badge?

Badges allow you to demonstrate specific skills, knowledge and competencies, helping you stand out in a crowd. They differ from high-stakes certifications like the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification as they are skills focused on specific content areas and relatively new topics. Badges do not expire, and you will receive an email from Credly once you have successfully passed the course-specific exam.

How do I access the course and exam?

Once you have purchased the course, you will be able to access it through your myPMI dashboard.

All exams will be administered online in a non proctored format and can be accessed via your myPMI dashboard. You can take the exam at any time. The entire assessment consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and will take approximately 75 minutes to complete. Once you begin the exam, you will have 24 hours to complete it.

Can I retake the exam?

An exam retake is available for a US$50.00 fee per attempt. You will have three exam attempt opportunities over 180 days (about 6 months), including the initial attempt. If you require additional retakes (after three opportunities), there will be a 45-day waiting period before eligibility.
