Future 50
A New Generation of Leaders Has Arrived

PMI Future 50 Frequently Asked Questions

Future 50 honors 50 rising leaders who are reshaping the future and accelerating innovation in their industries and around the world. These next-generation leaders are turning ideas into reality helping to create, build, and transform the world. See our 2021 Future 50 honorees.

To select Future 50 honorees, PMI asks experts and stakeholders around the world to submit their nominations. A special thought leadership committee reviews the nominees and creates a short list of candidates. Candidates are further vetted to select the 50 honorees who best represent the full spectrum of regions, industries, and project achievements.

Honorees must be no more than age 35 and have at least one specific achievement to call out, whether that is a role on a significant project, a younger-than-usual promotion, an idea-to-action output, or other platform of note.

All nominations must be submitted on or before Friday, 14 January 2022. Submit your nomination(s) here.

In addition to being featured on a dedicated microsite, honorees will be featured in our promotions of the Future 50. This includes but is not limited to global social media campaigns from PMI social channels, a press release, blog posts, and more.

Honorees will receive a social media toolkit to promote the award with their networks, receive invitations to network with fellow and past honorees, and be considered for global PMI speaking engagements.

The nomination process opens on Wednesday, 1 December 2021. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, 14 January 2022. Submit your nomination(s) here.
