Chipo Mwale
Chipo is a seasoned tax and project management professional with over seven years of experience, currently serving as Vice President of the PMI Zambia Chapter. She combines her expertise in change management, tax administration, and business operations to lead and support strategic initiatives that advance the chapter’s mission.
She holds an MBA in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Chipo also holds professional certifications in PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and Change Management. Her proven skills in formulating and implementing impactful project and change management initiatives make her a valuable leader and mentor within the chapter.
Director of Marketing

Mwiche Namukulwa
Mwiche Namukulwa is a dynamic project management leader with over seven years of experience managing diverse projects across both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Her work spans socio-economic development, professional skills training, climate action, and entrepreneurship support. She is the founder of Emesen Management, a consultancy established with a vision to design and deliver human-centred, sustainable initiatives that drive meaningful impact.
Mwiche holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies with Economics and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®. She brings a solid background in stakeholder engagement, program coordination, and strategic communication, and was recently recognized for her leadership as Project Manager of the 2024 PMI Zambia Conference.
As Director of Marketing for the PMI Zambia Chapter, Mwiche is committed to increasing the chapter’s visibility, strengthening partnerships across sectors, and promoting the value of project management in advancing Zambia’s development agenda. She is especially passionate about mentorship and empowering emerging professionals to thrive through project-based thinking.
Director of Membership and Professional Development

Abigail Sandala Mwape
Abigail is a results-oriented project management leader with over a decade of experience driving impactful initiatives across the ICT and public sectors. She currently serves as Acting Manager for the Project Management & Innovation Unit at the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA), where she is establishing strategic innovation and project governance structures within the Universal Access and Service Fund.
Certified in PMP®, PMI-ACP®, and PRINCE2®, and holding an MBA, Abigail has led initiatives that have saved over USD 45 million through optimized delivery and localized solutions. She is passionate about cross-sector collaboration and is currently a mentee in the 2025 Women in GovTech Challenge, advocating for the use of technology to enhance public service delivery and transparency.
As Director of Membership at PMI Zambia Chapter, she is committed to growing a vibrant professional community and advancing project management excellence. Beyond her professional work, Abigail is deeply passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces and expanding opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities, championing
their right to thrive with dignity and support.
Director of Administration

Beene Chishimba
Beene Chishimba is a seasoned project and program leader with over 15 years of experience delivering complex initiatives across the humanitarian, construction, and digital transformation sectors. Her diverse portfolio reflects a proven ability to lead multi-sectoral projects with precision, impact, and strategic oversight.
Beene’s expertise lies in project management, complemented by a strong foundation in monitoring and evaluation. She is highly achievement-oriented, consistently ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of results. Her strengths include coordinating multiple, high-stakes projects under pressure, making sound decisions, and applying analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
A dynamic communicator and collaborative leader, Beene is known for her ability to enhance team performance, drive stakeholder engagement, and uphold high standards of customer service. Her passion for project and change management is matched by her commitment to digital innovation, youth empowerment, and community-driven development.
In her role as Director of Administration for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Zambia Chapter, Beene plays a key part in advancing project management excellence and leadership growth across the region.
Director of Finance

Chilombo Kapembwa
Chilombo Kapembwa is a seasoned finance professional and risk specialist with over 16 years of experience, primarily in the financial sector. She is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
Chilombo holds an MBA in Finance and brings a strong blend of financial expertise and strategic insight. She currently serves as an Operational Risk Specialist at the Bank of Zambia, where she also leads as Project Manager for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Management System—playing a key role in advancing risk management practices.
In addition to her financial and risk credentials, Chilombo is a certified Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) under PMI. As Director of Finance for the PMI Zambia Chapter, she is committed to promoting sound financial stewardship and supporting the chapter’s mission through excellence in governance and accountability.
Director of University & Academic Outreach

Katrina Simon Agolory
Katrina Simon Agolory is the Director of University and Academic Outreach at the Southern Africa School of Project Management, where she leads the design and delivery of training, academic programs, and research initiatives. She brings a strong academic foundation to her role, holding a Bachelor of Science from the University of Richmond, a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Katrina is passionate about advancing project management education and building bridges between academia and industry. She is also a proud founding member of the PMI Zambia Chapter and remains committed to developing the next generation of project leaders in the region.
