Dear PMI Zambia Community,

Welcome to the PMI Zambia Chapter website! We are delighted to introduce you to our newly formed PMI Zambia Chapter and the PMI family in general. Our hope is that you will join us as we take an exciting journey towards actualising The Project Economy. The Project Economy is one in which people have the skills and capabilities they need to turn ideas into reality and for organizations deliver value to stakeholders through successful completion of projects, delivery of products, and alignment to value streams.

As you may be aware, PMI is the largest global community of project management practitioners. Therefore, the PMI Zambia Chapter will be your local gateway to a host of exciting PMI benefits which include opportunities to network with peers and learn from their collective experiences as well as great volunteering opportunities that will help you maintain your PMI certifications by providing professional development units (PDUs ). The chapter will also be instrumental in assisting more members to gain some of the most sought after PMI certifications in order to advance the profession of project management in Zambia.

The year 2020 will be an epic year of discovery, learning and collaboration as we grow this newly established chapter. Our greatest asset through this journey will be our volunteers. I would therefore like to take a moment to thank all the volunteers that have invested their time and energy into making the dream of a local chapter for Zambia a reality. Special thanks to the hardworking team that has served as the PMI Zambia Chapter Steering Committee.
