President's Message
Welcome to the PMI Zambia Chapter!
I am excited to welcome you all to 2025 as we look forward to a successful and fruitful year. I am also extending a warm welcome to all our visitors, both new and experienced project management professionals. At PMI Zambia, our mission is to maximize project success in all our endeavors, to promote the project management profession and to contribute to the development and uplifting of our communities through social impact projects.
To our budding members, no matter what your professional goals are, we are here to support and handhold you as you develop in your career. The chapter's commitment to membership growth is reflected in our dedication to providing the highest standard in project management. We offer a diverse range of certifications that are both cross-cutting and also address specific knowledge areas and skills required by our members. These professional certifications are not just about earning credentials, but they are about embarking on a lifelong journey of learning, growth, and impact.
The project management institute has embraced on digital transaction initiatives not only to transform the profession but also to impact the organizations we work for.
Over the years, the profession has been a catalyst for organizational change and growth through various activities affecting both the private and public sector I look forward to continuing to support various governmental and continental programs such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the African Union Vision 2063, Zambia's Vision 2030, the 8th National Development Plan, and the Presidential Priorities with a strong emphasis on Project Delivery.
I would like to invite you to join us on our many exciting activities which we will roll out during the year and beyond. We believe that together, we can achieve our great goals which will have a great impact on our profession, organizations and communities which live in.
