- Start the process early.
- Designate an award team with a lead nominator who gathers all necessary information, completes the paperwork and submits it on time, and acts as a liaison between PMIKPC and the team.
- Review the application package carefully. If possible, request a person not connected with the submission review it for criteria and compliance.
- Justify in the submission why you think your submission should receive the award.

Who is eligible?

PMI membership or certifications are not mandatory for the Award nominations. Some general guidelines are provided below for common understanding.

Can nominations be edited after submission?
Once a nomination is submitted, edits may not be permitted. Please review all materials carefully before final submission
Are nominations reviewed confidentially?
Yes. All nominations and submitted materials are treated as confidential and are reviewed only by authorized evaluators and PMI KPC Awards Committee.
Is there an application fee for the awards?
There is no application fee to apply for any of the PMI KPC Awards.
Is there anything specific to submitted materials to consider?
All submitted materials must be accessible to evaluators without any sign-in or login requirement. Materials placed behind access barriers (for example, requiring a Microsoft or Google account) cannot be reviewed and may result in the submission being disqualified.
Does submitting a nomination guarantee finalist or winner status?
No. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection as a finalist or award recipient.
Who selects winners?
Evaluators vary by award. All evaluators are PMI volunteers who are experienced practitioners and have successfully demonstrated project management expertise. Evaluators follow a structured and confidential evaluation process aligned with the criteria defined for each award.
Will feedback be provided on unsuccessful nominations?
Due to the volume of submissions, individual feedback is not provided. Award recipients and finalists will be notified according to the timeline outlined for each award.
When and where are awards presented?
The PMI KPC Awards are presented at IPM Day Celebrations in the month of November

The general deadline for award submissions is September 25, 2026.
