Chapter Overview

The PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter is dedicated to advancing the practice, science, and professionalism of project management in Karachi and the surrounding region. The Chapter has grown to a membership of around 250+ professionals and students in industries as diverse as federal and territory public service, defense, health and construction.

The PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is part of an international not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to the advancement of project management excellence through professionalism. With more than 500,000 members in over 170 countries, PMI is the leading membership association for the project management profession. PMI is recognized for the advocacy programs conducted with governments, organizations and industries around the world as they recognize and embrace project management to achieve business results.

The PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter serves the state of Sindh and was initially formed in 2006 and registered with the PMI in same year. The chapter members are employed across all industries with a majority in the Information Technology and Telecommunications fields.

The PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter events are great forums for project management practitioners to learn the essential elements of succeeding in business and networking with other professionals.
