Join us for our Global Month of Service to support PMI’s commitment to change and making a positive impact on our communities both locally and across the globe. This year, we are supporting the global organization Amnesty International to contribute 10,000 letters to their “Write for Rights” campaign. PMI members, volunteers and certification holders are asked to write letters on behalf of people who need urgent help. Through the power of our collective action these letters will help convince government officials and people in power to free people wrongfully imprisoned or facing other abuses.
Global Celebration of Service
After the unprecedented level of commitment our community showed in 2019 during our 50th Anniversary Celebration of Service, where we pledged over 150,000 hours to towards supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are taking steps to energize this group again through acts of social good to unite and strengthen our global community.
PMI’s Global Month of Service will run from 5 November, International Project Management Day, to 5 December, International Volunteer Day. Help us reach our 10,000 letter pledge by sharing how many letters you pledge to write.
If you’d like to participate in the Global Month of Service but the “Write for Rights” campaign isn’t something that suits you, please feel free to explore some of the other service opportunities that you can participate in to contribute in our Global Month of Service and share those stories through PMImpact.
