Please review the rules and guidelines ATPs must follow when offering these courses. Please note that the primary difference is in which curriculum you are using to offer a CAPM exam prep course.

ATPs delivering the PMI Authorized CAPM^® Exam Prep Course (this is the course written by PMI):

• Enter these courses as “Specialty” in the course catalog (EPP)
• ATPs must use a badged CAPM instructor; the instructor must be affiliated with your ATP
• Instructors may advertise their ATP CAPM instructor badge for these approved courses

ATPs delivering their own CAPM course (this is a course developed/written by the ATP):

• ATPs may enter these courses as PDU-only courses
• ATPs qualify their own instructors
• If an ATP instructor holds an ATP CAPM instructor badge, they may NOT advertise their badge to teach these specific courses

Being a great training partner is easy when you follow the guidelines and rules of the ATP Program.

As a reminder:

• Only instructors who have completed the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Train the Trainer (TTT) and earn their CAPM ATP instructor badge may deliver the PMI-authorized exam prep course for CAPM.
• Instructors can only advertise their CAPM ATP Instructor badges when delivering PMI-created exam prep courses.
• Instructors MAY NOT advertise their CAPM ATP instructor badges when delivering courses that PMI did not create.

The PMI^® Authorized On-Demand CAPM^® Exam Prep Course is available for ATP Resellers. Premier ATPs can become a reseller as a benefit of their program level. Basic partners can participate in the Reseller Program for an additional fee.

ATP's that teach CAPM courses are not required to use PMI-certified material. However; 

• Only courses using PMI-certified material are allowed to be posted on the course catalog as specialty courses.
• ATP's should only use the ATP seal on their webpage for a CAPM course if they are using the PMI CAPM-certified material

After you or your PMP or CAPM-certified instructors complete the PMI train-the-trainer course for CAPM, you can upload your new PMI^® Authorized Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)^® Exam Prep courses into the system so that learners can find them on the PMI Find a Course Page.

Members may download PMI publications like Process Groups: A Practice Guide or Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide as a free member benefit, and Authorized Training Partners may order in bulk.
