New PMP® Exam + Training Materials
Announced today at PMI Global Summit:
The new Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Exam is coming in July 2026, designed to elevate how project professionals lead, think, and deliver value.
Built with input from global practitioners to reflect the way projects succeed today, the new PMP blends real-world leadership, strategic decision-making, and value delivery, while maintaining full accreditation under ANSI/ISO 17024 and ISO 9001.
What this means for you:
- Strengthen your portfolio with updated, future-forward training
- Attract more learners with skills aligned to modern practice
- Stay competitive as demand shifts toward practical, strategic capability
- Encourage your current learners to take the exam before the transition

- A new instructor-led training course, delivered by ATPs, will launch on April 14 2026.
- All qualified ATP PMP instructors with an instructor kit will receive access to the new instructor materials (English) in their existing kits this month, to prepare.

- Translated instructor + student kits will be available in Q2 2026 (10 core languages).
Thank you to the many ATPs who contributed feedback on the new instructor materials during our August–September preview period. Your insights shaped this evolution.
