- Provide a focused development path for PMP® holders and senior professionals seeking to enhance their strategic decision-making and leadership through risk management.
- Support organizations looking to safeguard timelines, budgets, and outcomes, a priority as 36% of companies increase their risk management investment.
- Capture growth in MENA and other emerging markets where risk management is a rising priority for organizations.
Requirements for ATPs to Teach PMI-RMP
IMPORTANT! To train on the new PMI-RMP, ATPs must use the official PMI course materials. ATPs may NOT leverage their own training for the PMI-RMP once the official PMI instructor-led option becomes available.
PMI-RMP Instructor-Led Training Materials (instructor kits) are now available for purchase, and student materials will be available from 3 September 2025. If you are interested in gaining access to the PMI-RMP Instructor-Led Training materials, you first need to have a qualified trainer affiliated with your program.
To qualify to teach the new PMI-RMP, instructors must:
- Hold the PMI-RMP certification
- Complete the PMI-RMP Train the Trainer course.
Successful completion of these requirements will trigger the process of obtaining your PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor Badge and allow Authorized Training Partners to assign PMI-RMP classes for you to deliver.
Course material will be available for ATPs to order via the standard order process as soon as an instructor completes the full qualification process, and ATP classes may be launched immediately after. We encourage you to list your courses in the ATP course directory as soon as they are scheduled in order to direct interested learners to them.
