Ben Breen is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of high-profile experience in construction and project management. Currently serving as Vice President, Giga Projects, at Project Management Institute (PMI), Ben joined the organization in 2019 and played a pivotal role in introducing PMI's first industry-specific offering focused on construction project management.

In his role as VP Gigaprojects , Ben worked closely with experts in the construction industry to spearhead the development of the PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ certification. The PMI-CP equips project professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to make transformative contributions to the global construction industry.

Originally from Australia, Ben relocated to Singapore in 1994. Over the years, he has played pivotal roles in numerous projects, including notable developments such as Marina Bay Sands and the award-winning Suntec Convention Centre. Beyond these roles, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own project management company which he helped grow and develop into a best-in-class provider.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Building Engineering from Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and has further strengthened his professional credentials by obtaining the PMI-CP certification as well as PMI-SCP (Senior Construction Professional). His extensive background and commitment to driving positive change make him a valuable asset in the field of construction and project management.
