Our Governance & Leadership

Two groups work together to form PMI’s global governance & leadership. 

Our Board of Directors is a distinguished group of individuals from around the globe who bring experience, diversity and passion in business and project management. Our members elect the Board to provide strategic oversight and governance for the Institute. Board members also occasionally serve as spokespersons and ambassadors for the Institute.

Our PMI Leadership Team has the executive responsibility of the implementation of the Institute's vision. They lead and manage teams across PMI global & regional offices to execute the activities outlined in our strategic plan and budget. PMI teams serve and collaborate with a global network of chapters and volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to advance the project management profession.
