Michael Mylonas
Michael Mylonas, born and raised in Toronto, spent several years working to find a profession he was passionate about. Then he discovered project management. In 2020, Michael, his wife, Christina, and their husky, Nova, embarked on a trip across Canada to visit the community of Xeni Gwet’in in Tsilhqot’in Title Land, British Columbia, Canada. While there, Michael led a variety of projects, igniting a passion for bringing sound practices and processes to Xeni Gwet’in. This also led him to acquire the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. An increasing responsibility for infrastructure projects gave rise to another passion: to deliver sustainable infrastructure in a manner that is respectful of the planet, people and prosperity. Now, as director of project management, Michael weaves these two passions together by leading sustainable infrastructure projects and building sustainability standards into project management processes in the organization.
