PMI Annual Membership Meeting
The PMI Annual Membership Meeting is an important gathering held specifically for active PMI members. This is your chance to hear directly from PMI Leadership on the past year’s achievements, celebrate our successes, and gain insights into project management topics you care about most.
We want you to get the most out of your membership! Participating in the Annual Membership Meeting is a valuable way to be included in current discussions and learn more about what is happening in our organization.
When: The upcoming PMI Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, 22 October 2026, 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Where: PMI members are invited to attend this meeting in person at 2026 PMI® Global Summit in Detroit, Michigan (seating on a first-come, first-served basis), or virtually, streamed live on PMI's YouTube channel.
The meeting will be presided by our 2026 Board Chair, Ike Nwankwo, who will provide updates for members and volunteers, including announcing the changes to Board Leadership. President and CEO Pierre Le Manh, will share the latest information on PMI:NEXT and the continued evolution of our operations and strategy. Please review the agenda to learn more.
We want your input! We call on all PMI members to submit questions for our Leadership to address during the Q&A panel at the Annual Membership Meeting.
Questions must be submitted by 1 September.

Proposing new business
You may submit new business for the Annual Membership Meeting as stipulated in the PMI PMI Bylaws, Article V, which requires, “Upon ninety (90) days' notice and a petition signed by five percent (5%) or more of the voting membership to the Corporate Secretary, a question and resolution shall be submitted to the quorum of voting members present at the Annual Membership Meeting.”
Completed petitions and questions/resolutions must be submitted to the PMI Corporate Secretary 90 days before the Annual Membership Meeting on a completed Board Agenda Topic Form.
