PMI Project of the Year Award

The PMI Project of the Year Award recognizes outstanding project success in complex environments.

About the PMI Project of the Year Award

The PMI Project of the Year Award is one of our most distinguished recognitions.

The award celebrates projects that exemplify excellence in project management. Building on PMI’s tradition of honoring achievement since the 1970s, this award honors project management practices that deliver measurable organizational results, innovation, and elevate our world in alignment with PMI’s purpose.

For the purposes of this award, the term “project” is used broadly and may also include project and programs, as defined by PMI standards. This award includes winners in four different categories, with one overall winner named the Project of the Year.

Submissions for the 2026 PMI Awards have officially closed.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their inspiring work this year. Please check back in December 2026 when submissions open for the 2027 awards cycle.
