The Call for Nominations for the 2025 Board of Directors election is now closed. The 2025 election will take place 2 – 30 June. Please be on the lookout for your personalized member ballot!

The PMI Board of Directors is composed of dedicated volunteers elected by PMI members. PMI Board members play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategy and advancing the project management profession globally. They embody PMI’s cultural values by fostering trust, building connections, and engaging diverse perspectives with honesty, integrity, and empathy. Board members collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to:

  • Provide strategic oversight and ensure PMI achieves its purpose and objectives.
  • Lead with vision, supporting initiatives like PMI:Next to deliver meaningful value to our global community.
  • Strengthen PMI’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and advancing the profession.

PMI’s annual nomination and election cycle ensures the Board reflects the diversity and perspectives of our membership. The process begins in February with nominations and concludes in June with elections. This year, four new directors will be elected to join the Board and serve three-year terms, through December 2028.

Election

The annual PMI Board of Directors election, taking place each June, represents a critical opportunity for you to influence the leadership that shapes our purpose and strategic vision.

If you are an active member, you will receive a personalized electronic ballot from a third- party vendor with details on how to securely vote in the election.
