PMI online course access extends through the full life of the course. You will be able to return to your coursework at any time while active and may review or retake the content you have purchased any number of times.
-
When it’s determined that a PMI online course has reached the end of its lifecycle (meaning content is determined to be outdated or quality becomes diminished) the course will be retired and access will be removed. You will not lose any PDUs obtained from the completion of a course prior to its retirement. If you have not completed a course that is being retired, you will be notified through email and given 60 days’ notice to complete.
-
Most PMI online courses are only available in English.
-
No, a PMI credential is not required to take an online course. However, only PMP®, PgMP®, PMI-ACP®, PMI-RMP® and PMI-SP® credential holders can earn PDUs.
-
PMI online courses are created by PMI Instructional Designers in collaboration with volunteers or vendors, depending on the product. All characters are fictional and are not intended to represent any persons either living or dead. Story lines are also fictional and do not represent any actual industries, companies, or projects. Where possible, supporting information has been researched and an effort has been made to adhere to realistic facts to support project documentation and the user experience.
-
No. There is no instructor to contact if you have questions about the content of a PMI online course. We suggest using the PMBOK® Guide as a reference guide.
-
Some courses contain a test; however all courses contain exercises and decision points. Scores are not recorded. You must complete each exercise and decision point to complete the course. You will receive full credit for the course when you complete it the first time. We encourage you to start the course again to explore all other online courses that PMI has to offer. Note that by re-running the course your PDU and CEU credit will not be affected.
