Course Description
The GAC Training Modules instruct programs seeking and reaffirming GAC accreditation and volunteers of the value and benefits of GAC accreditation and of the accreditation standards and procedures.
Module Description
Module 1 GAC Overview
This module presents an overview of the Global Accreditation Center’s history, mission, objectives, and scope, outlines the accreditation process and resources to assist, and concludes with the value and benefits of accreditation.
Module 2 Eligibility Requirements and Letter of Intent
This module presents an overview of the four GAC eligibility requirements and provides a brief overview of the Letter of Intent Process.
Module 3 Self-Assessment Report Process
This module presents a brief review of the process and timeline for completing the Self-Assessment Report and guidance relevant to this stage of the process.
Module 4 GAC Accreditation Standard 1 Program Mission
This module presents an overview of GAC Accreditation Standard 1: Program Mission.
Module 5 GAC Accreditation Standard 2 Curricula and Student Achievement of Learning Outcomes
This module presents an overview of GAC Accreditation Standard 2: Curricula and Student Achievement of Learning Outcomes. This information will benefit GAC prospective programs, accredited programs, and GAC volunteers.

This module presents an explanation of how to complete Charts A and B during the Self-Assessment stage of the accreditation process.

Module 14 GAC Team Lead Qualifications and Responsibilities
This module explains the role of the visit team lead, their qualifications, and responsibilities.
Module 15 GAC Team Member Qualifications and Responsibilities
This module explains the role of the visit team members, their qualifications, and responsibilities.
Module 16 GAC Visit Report and Recommendation
This module explains the process for writing and submitting the accreditation visit report and recommendation and how a visit team determines the contents of the report and recommendation.
Module 17 GAC Accreditation Decision and Reporting Requirements
This module presents an overview of the final step of the GAC accreditation process, the accreditation decision and provides an overview of reporting requirements for accredited programs.
