What are Giga Projects?
At PMI, we define giga projects as complex, transformative, and years-long initiatives with hefty budgets, often exceeding US$1 billion.
The terms “giga project” and “giga project management” are common in the Middle East, while similar projects, typically smaller in size, are often referred to as “mega projects" in other countries like the United States.
