As Chair of the PMI Board of Directors, I am honored to serve a global community of professionals who are helping to build a better, more project-driven world. Every day, I’m inspired by your commitment, your leadership, and your belief in our purpose of maximizing project success to elevate our world.

It is on this note that I would like to take this opportunity to remind you to join us for the PMI 2025 Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, 13 November from 5:00–5:45 p.m. local time in Phoenix, Arizona during PMI® Global Summit 2025—or virtually via livestream on the PMI Channel on YouTube. Save the date on your calendar and plan now to join us – either in person or online!

This meeting is an opportunity for you to connect directly with PMI’s leadership. I will be providing updates for our members and volunteers, and our President and CEO, Pierre Le Manh, PMP, will share the latest information on PMI:NEXT and the continued evolution of our operations and strategy. I encourage you to review the agenda to learn more.

As part of our commitment to greater transparency and two-way communication, we want to hear from you. If you have questions, insights, or topics you’d like us to address during the Annual Membership Meeting, please submit them by 31 August 2025. Review the submission guidelines and submit your questions here. Do note that timing may not allow us to answer all questions during the meeting, but we will address any additional key themes and topics in future issues of this newsletter.

Ways to Join the Annual Membership Meeting

• Virtually – Watch live on the PMI Channel on YouTube from wherever you are in the world. 
• In Person – If you’ll be at PMI Global Summit 2025, the largest gathering of project professionals each year, we’d love to see you there. The Annual Membership Meeting location will be communicated at the event. Please note seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Looking Ahead

Beginning this month, the PMI Community Newsletter will feature a new column called Board Perspectives, which will include regular messages from the PMI Board of Directors. This new column is part of our

effort to open stronger channels of dialogue, share community insights, and respond to the ideas and questions that matter most to you—our members.

If you have insights or topics you’d like us to address in future Board Perspectives columns of this newsletter, please use our online feedback form here, which can be used throughout the year to share your thoughts or insights.
