Brantlee Underhill
With 25 years of association experience at PMI, Brantlee Underhill, Chief Community Officer (CCO), is responsible for fostering PMI’s greatest asset, their community. PMI’s unique and expansive global community includes hundreds of thousands of PMI members and PMI chapter members, thousands of volunteers, and more than one million PMI certification holders, all connected by a passion for project management.
Prior to her role as CCO, Brantlee served as PMI’s managing director for North America, responsible for driving the region’s enterprise to ultimately broaden PMI’s impact among organizations, individuals, and communities, empowering people to make their ideas a reality.
Brantlee’s tenure at PMI spans across various roles, including leading global community, organizational, and volunteer leadership transformation initiatives to achieve better engagement and value outcomes for PMI members. She’s led the establishment of PMI offices in Dubai, Singapore, and Brussels, and oversaw business development planning for regional markets, including Latin America. Brantlee coached teams in change and stakeholder engagement, and work-life integration; she co-led the start-up team for implementing PMI’s culture and change management capability.
Brantlee has a bachelor’s degree in German, Russian, and Political Science from West Chester University. She holds PMI’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification in addition to Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executives.
Brantlee resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
