As Vice President, Product Portfolio Management at Project Management Institute (PMI), Gregory Reynolds leads the team responsible for our Professional Certification product families, which include the exams, learning, exam preparation, and publications related to each certification, as well as new product innovation. This work involves analyzing portfolio data, performing product-related research, developing product plans, and program-managing product development. Each function plays a crucial role in aligning PMI's products with customer needs and orchestrating development across the organization's product families to deliver impact throughout the certification journey.

Gregory is an experienced leader and practitioner in customer experience and product strategy, design, and management, transforming portfolios for growth at major multinational organizations across the aerospace, financial services, and data sectors. Before joining PMI in 2021, Gregory served as Senior Director, Customer Experience (CX), where he drove product and experience innovations leveraging synergies across a broad portfolio of newly acquired businesses. His early career focused on organizational change and leadership development as an HR practitioner for Rolls-Royce and as a Change Management Consultant at Accenture. He then spent nearly a decade at American Express in various product and experience management roles, culminating in the role of Chief of Staff to the Head of Commercial Cards and Strategy Lead for the Corporate and Small Business segments. In that role, he modernized the product management function, developed a large new revenue-driving line of business, and was recognized for delivering record growth across the commercial cards portfolio.

Gregory lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his husband, Tom, their dog, and two cats. He is an avid gardener, food lover, and home cook, and grows many ingredients at home. Gregory also loves traveling the world and experiencing new cultures, counting Ecuador, Turkey, and Nepal among his favorite adventures. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
